Manifesto: Moving From Equity Awareness to Inclusive Action

--

Imagine this👇

Picture a world where every student, regardless of their background, walks into a classroom that sees their brilliance. A world where technology, like AI, removes barriers and builds pathways for Black and Brown students.

A world where equity isn’t just a buzzword but a lived reality in every school.

That world isn’t some distant future — it’s one we can create today. But we can only do it by disrupting the outdated systems that continue to fail our kids.

The System

For far too long, the traditional education system has ignored the unique needs of marginalized communities. Instead of creating opportunity, it perpetuates inequity. Black and Brown students, in particular, are held back by structures that weren’t designed to help them succeed.

Innovative Solutions

Artificial Intelligence (#AI) isn’t just a new tool; it’s a game-changer. AI is empowering students, parents, and educators to reimagine education, leveling the playing field in ways that were unimaginable before.

AI gives teachers the power to personalize learning, meet students where they are, and identify gaps before they become barriers. It creates more inclusive classrooms, allowing educators to focus on fostering connections rather than managing repetitive tasks.

Move Equity Forward

☑️ Ensure Educators Have Access to Innovative Professional Development: It’s time to equip our teachers with PD topics that move education forward. Let’s train them on how to use innovative tools like AI responsibly and how to create inclusive K-12 classrooms, schools, and teams where both students and educators thrive.

☑️ Leverage AI to Empower Marginalized Communities: AI tools must be made available to Black and Brown families, providing students with access to the same resources their more privileged peers have.

☑️ Create Inclusive Cultures: Now, more than ever, we must come together and bridge the human disconnection gap. Tech companies must work with trusted voices in marginalized communities and schools. K12 nonprofits must partner with districts to offer training that ensures AI is deployed in ways that empower, not exclude.

Make the Shift: Awareness to Action

I’m not gonna sugarcoat it — our public education system needs some help.
— We are four years post-pandemic, and educators are stressed.
— Students are traumatized.
— Families are less trusting.
— Educators are exhausted.

And our school systems are trying to lean back into those outdated systems that never supported us in the first place. This is why we need more effective professional development solutions to help teachers and staff better prepare students for the future, I’ve got something you need to see.

Introducing Inclusive Educator™

A PD training series for K-12 educators, districts, and organizations who want to create an instructional culture where ALL students thrive.

In this training, we’re talking “inclusive action”…

☑️ We’re talking emotional safety for students and teachers…
☑️ We’re talking welcoming environments where harmful practices are stopped in their tracks…
☑️ We’re talking recognizing and limiting student trauma.

Yep, we’re going there.

Outdated practices have no place in our classrooms, communities, and schools. Teachers shouldn’t have to fight through them to serve their students, and students shouldn’t have to jump over hidden obstacles all year long.

This is why we are on a mission to partner and ensure EVERY student is ready to thrive after graduation!

The Training Every Educator Needs

You asked, so I’m delivering! I’ll be traveling the country with this training to make sure we spread the message of “inclusive action” and how to use it in the classroom. You heard that right — I’m taking Inclusive Educator™ on the road!
